Thursday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiple bets . . .

Handicappers' nap

Spirit Of Applause (6.30 Southwell)

Winner at Beverley in August who has shaped better than the result on both starts since. Still well treated on old form and can resume winning ways for trainer Tim Easterby.

Eyecatcher

Chiringita (5.30 Southwell)

The noteworthy trainer and jockey combination of David Simcock and Jamie Spencer are represented by this juvenile daughter of American Pharoah. She did particularly well to reach an improved third switched to the all-weather at Kempton last month and is thought capable of making the breakthrough on this occasion.

Speed figures

How Impressive (6.45 Chelmsford)

A much better operator on the all-weather, so no surprise to see him back to form here last month. Can go one better on course where he clocked his best speed figure back in February.

Dark horse

Bold Approach (4.10 Curragh)

Has yet to win since returning to Jim Bolger's stable last year but showed signs of a return to form when fourth at Listowel last month. Could be well handicapped off a career-low rating of 62 having won off marks in the 90s in the past.
