The Punt Acca: Robbie Wilders' three horse racing tips at Fakenham and Lingfield on Sunday

Three horses to include in a multiple on Sunday

McLoven (2.30 Lingfield)

5lb claimer Tommie Jakes is one from one when teaming up with Simon Dow and the promising apprentice’s booking to ride McLoven in the 5f handicap at Lingfield looks significant. McLoven went a little too hard from the front when a beaten favourite over track and trip on his previous run in September, but wasn’t beaten far and that was a better race than this one. If he’s ready to rock following a 99-day break, he could take some stopping.

Ziggy’s Condor (3.00 Lingfield)

Ziggy’s Condor makes plenty of appeal in the 6f handicap that follows at Lingfield. This horse almost managed to land a good 7f handicap at the Dante meeting in the spring, and after losing his way later in the summer, has returned to something like his best with two promising efforts over 6f on the all-weather this winter. The return to 7f can enable him to raise his game and so can dropping into Class 4 company under an in-demand 7lb claimer.

Frere D’Armes (3.13 Fakenham)

Frere D’Armes is another class-dropper to stand out in the 2m5f handicap hurdle at Fakenham. He might have disappointed behind Martator at Ascot last time, but that horse is probably Grade 2 class now, and Frere D’Armes will derive plenty of benefit for tackling inferior opposition at Fakenham. He still has a bit to prove on the stamina front, but this tight track on a sound surface is the perfect place to try and stretch out. He sits on an enticing mark.
