The Punt Acca: Richard Russell's three horse racing tips at Kempton, Nottingham and Wetherby on Wednesday

Three horses to include in a multiple on Wednesday . . .

Ebony Warrior (2.00 Wetherby)

The Killahena and McPherson gelding overcame some indifferent jumping when winning on his second start over hurdles at Worcester in August. He’s improved subsequently, finishing runner-up twice at the same track over half a mile further, and sets the standard on those efforts. He can defy his penalty.

Miss Wong (2.45 Nottingham)

David Simcock’s filly made a really encouraging debut at Haydock 18 days ago, running to the line behind two decent sorts to finish a never-nearer third. Her useful Group-placed dam posted a similar display on her debut, before winning at the second attempt, and normal progress ought to see her daughter do likewise.

Ten Dimes (7.15 Kempton)

The Gosdens’ three-year-old was set a couple of stiff tasks either side of a good run over this course and distance in August, weakening out of it in the Listed Lyric at York in July and finding the John Musker at Yarmouth too tall an order last time. Connections evidently feel the filly is capable of better and this fairly unexposed sort can prove the point back in handicap company.
