The Punt Acca: Matt Rennie's three horse racing tips from Naas, Plumpton and Southwell on Monday

Three horses to include in a treble on Monday. . .

No Risk Des Flos (12.22 Southwell)

This nine-year-old has not won in a while but has fallen to an attractive mark. Trained by Olly Murphy, he lost his way last season and had wind surgery in the summer before shaping with plenty of encouragement on his return at Stratford in October when runner-up over an inadequate trip. The winner that day was none other than L'Eau Du Sud, who is now a Grade 1 winner over fences. He bumped into a rival a class apart on that occasion and has also been eased 1lb for that effort, so is 8lb below his last winning mark.

Slade Steel (12.30 Naas)

The Henry de Bromhead-trained star has the ideal opportunity to get off the mark over fences at the second attempt. The six-year-old was a high-class novice hurdler, enjoying his finest moment when landing the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival. His chasing debut last month didn't entirely go to plan in a tactical race that wasn't run to suit, but he did keep on well at the end to be second. The winner that day is a very smart sort and there isn't much of the same calibre in this contest, while the bigger field should suit too.

Alien Storm (1.10 Plumpton)

This six-year-old may be 7lb higher than his last winning mark, but a return to this track can get him back to winning ways. Trained by Charlie Longsdon, the six-year-old has finished in the first three on four of his runs at Plumpton, including winning twice, with the latter of those coming in September. He's been beaten twice since, but was keeping on well when third at Doncaster last time, which he's been dropped 1lb for, and looks ready for the step back up in distance too.
