The Punt Acca: Matt Rennie's three horse racing tips from Fakenham, Redcar and Uttoxeter on Friday

Three horses to include in a treble on Friday. . .

Project Dante (2.27 Redcar)

This five-year-old was classy in his juvenile years and may be ahead of the handicapper as he bids to continue his resurgence in the 5f handicap. Trained by Geoff Oldroyd, he won on his debut in May 2021 before finishing third in the Norfolk Stakes, but lost his way subsequently. However, he bounced back to form when bagging the rail over course-and-distance last time from stall one. He's drawn low again in two and that could be crucial at a track where it has had biases before. Crucially, he goes off only 2lb higher.

Ballybegg (3.55 Uttoxeter)

This versatile nine-year-old tends to do well at this track and can return to winning ways in the feature 2m4f handicap hurdle. Trained by Kerry Lee, he regularly mixes hurdles with fences and is twice a winner over course and distance. He has been well beaten since winning over fences at Ludlow three starts ago, but the latter run came on his comeback and he should strip fitter now. The handicapper is giving him a chance as his hurdles mark has dropped 5lb.

Double Powerful (4.20 Fakenham)

Course form is key at the Norfolk track and that will help Double Powerful greatly in his bid for a five-timer in the 2m4f novice handicap hurdle. Trained by Neil Mulholland, the five-year-old's winning spree began over track and trip in March before narrowly following up at Market Rasen. He has already landed two wide-margin wins this month, including just two days ago at Worcester. He has a 7lb penalty to contend with but that shouldn't stop him from continuing his flying form.
