Three horses to include in a treble on Monday. . .

Coko Beach (1.00 Punchestown)

The Gordon Elliott-trained veteran took this a year ago and don't be surprised if he bounces back to his best in this again. The ten-year-old was an impressive six-length scorer last season and that continued his strong track form in February, which also includes a victory in the Grand National Trial two years ago. He's found life tough this year but has been operating at a higher level, including when well-beaten in the Thyestes Chase last month. This is far easier and the Punchestown banks usually bring him alive, and conditions will be in his favour too.

Travail D'Orfevre (4.00 Carlisle)

This nine-year-old continues to prove to be consistent and a return to this track, where he performs well at, can help him continue the winning curve in the 3m½f handicap chase. Trained by Nick Alexander, he hasn't finished out of the first three on his last 13 runs, including when scoring at Ayr last month. He jumped right that day, so his win can be definitely marked up and he's only 2lb higher for that. He has a win and two third-place efforts at Carlisle too, so going right-handed surely helps his cause.

Alpine Trail (4.27 Wolverhampton)

Charlie Appleby has been firing in winners in Britain and abroad since last week and his expensive recruit looks like he can make a winning debut in the 1m1½f novice. The three-year-old cost €550,000 as a yearling and while his pedigree doesn't stand out brilliantly on paper, he is out of a family of French winners. However, it is his trainer's form which stands out. Since January 27, Appleby's record reads 21111112, including unleashing a live 2,000 Guineas hope in Opera Ballo on the all-weather in that period. This horse could be a cut above his rivals.
