The Punt Acca: Matt Rennie's three horse racing tips from Ascot and Newmarket on ITV on Saturday

Three horses to include in a treble on Saturday . . .

Relief Rally (1.50 Ascot)

High-class juvenile last year who finally looks to have a golden opportunity to pick up a first win of the year in the Rous Stakes. Trained by William Haggas, the daughter of Kodiac has run only three times in 2024 but has improved with each start. She can be significantly marked up for her second in a Newbury Group 3 last time given that came off the back of a break and she did her best work towards the finish. The track and trip will be no issue, given she was just touched off in last year's Queen Mary Stakes, while she has winning form on ground with ease in it.

Al Qareem (2.25 Ascot)

Testing ground brings out the best in Al Qareem and conditions will be firmly in his favour for a second Cumberland Lodge Stakes triumph. Most of the Karl Burke-trained five-year-olds career wins have come with some give in the ground, including when an unchallenged winner of a Listed contest at Chester last time. His main rival Al Aasy toyed with him at Newbury in August but that came on far quicker ground and he flopped in this last year. Al Qareem is poised to take advantage.

Tamfana (2.40 Newmarket)

The David Menuisier-trained three-year-old has improved throughout the year and should blossom for a deserved Group 1 triumph in the Sun Chariot Stakes. The daughter of Soldier Hollow has been consistent through the year and was incredibly unlucky not to land the 1,000 Guineas over the course and distance, when she was a fast-finishing fourth. Having hit the frame in the Prix de Diane and finished fourth in the Grand Prix de Paris, she thrived when dropped back to a mile in the Atalanta Stakes last time. All of her rivals bar See The Fire have something to prove in this and the likely give in the ground boosts her chance too.
