The Punt Acca: Lee Sharp's three horse racing tips at the Curragh, Exeter and Newcastle on Tuesday

Three horses to include in a multiple on Tuesday . . .

Giselle (1.30 Curragh)

Was the yard's first string on her debut but was second to subsequent Chesham winner Bedtime Story. She had a break after that but returned to the track this month and justified short odds to pick up her first win. The winning distance does not reflect her superiority as she had the race won and was doing enough in front to hold off any challenge, but she looked to have plenty more in hand if it was needed. She has plenty of ability and is expected to win this Group 3.

Sorceleur (2.43 Exeter)

He showed good potential in his four bumper runs last season, which included a 15-length win at Taunton, a third-placed finish in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham, and a fifth in Grade 2 at Aintree. He is the one with the most promise in the field, and a clean round of jumping should see him win. Paul Nicholls' form was a concern after he drew a blank at Chepstow, but the yard has had a few winners recently. Rubaud landed a Listed race at Kempton and would have been a welcome winner.

Northener (6.25 Newcastle)

A couple of seconds in novice company earned him a mark of 64, but he was unable to get competitive off that rating and has since dropped down 10lb. He produced a much better performance last time over course and distance on his all-weather debut, hitting the line and just missing out on the places while running on the far side. He’s found his level and has a good chance of a first win.
