The Punt Acca: Laurence Morter's three horse racing tips at Sedgefield and Southwell on Tuesday

Three horses to include in a multiple on Tuesday . . .

Harper Valley (2.30 Sedgefield)

Harper Valley has started this season in relatively good form. He kicked this campaign off with a respectable third over course and distance and then followed that up with a narrow defeat last time at Kelso two weeks ago, just being headed in the closing stages. The application of a visor, which has been retained, has brought about some improvement, and he has a strong record at Sedgefield. All of that suggests he could go one place better down in class.

Rockola (2.40 Southwell)

Rockola put in a solid effort on her reappearance last month at Southwell to continue her consistent form shown last year. While she is still inexperienced, she is learning all the time and has shown glimpses that she could be useful, most notably when second at Hereford in April. The step up in trip should suit as she got outpaced in the closing stages last time and clearly wants a bit more of a stamina test. She has a strong chance on her handicap debut.

Bebside Banter (3.00 Sedgefield)

Bebside Banter continued his fine form with another course-and-distance win last time to take his tally to three wins from five at Sedgefield. He ran well throughout and jumped the last superbly, quickening and pulling away from the rest of the field. Similar tactics have been used in all three of his wins and even though he has been put up 6lb for his last win, he looks to have found a winning formula and should be competitive again.
