The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson's three horse racing tips from Kempton and Sedgefield on Sunday
Three horses to include in a treble on Sunday . . .
Alien Storm (2.15 Kempton)
Looked potentially useful when comfortably winning a Plumpton novice in October 2022, pulling more than four lengths clear of Our Champ, who is now rated 131, and Rewired (124), before showing arguably stronger form when going down by just a length to Attacca (132) at Kempton a month later, when trying to give that one 7lb. He never really went on from that over hurdles, but left that firmly behind him on his chasing debut last month, jumping foot-perfect bar a peck at the second last and comfortably exploiting a low-looking mark of 113. He's up 8lb for that but could have plenty more to offer in this sphere.
Redbridge Rambler (3.45 Sedgefield)
Failed to get off the mark on his first nine starts but has proved a different proposition this year, going down by just half a length over 2m4f at Southwell in February before going one better when upped to 3m for the first time at Ascot in March and giving it a good shot from the front at Kempton in May. He was never going to be suited by the drop to two miles on his chasing debut after 144 days off the track at Worcester last month, but he jumped well on the whole, which was encouraging. He's entitled to come on for the run and will be much better returned to staying trips. A 3lb drop for the last time can only help.
Casa No Mento (4.00 Kempton)
Highly regarded point-to-point winner who showed good form in bumpers, she won her first two starts over hurdles by a combined 21 lengths and lost nothing in defeat behind the high-class Queen's Gamble in a Listed race at Taunton in December. Took her record over hurdles to four from five when getting the better of some classy fillies in a Listed race at Punchestown in May and should have plenty more to offer this season. She has a potent turn of foot on good ground, so could do without lots of rain, but she handles cut and could be hard to beat in receipt of weight.
