The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson fires in a 6-1 winner - find out his remaining Monday selection

Reporter

Three horses to include in a treble on Monday . . .

Lock Out (2.00 Hereford)

Was well supported when breaking a long losing run in a higher-grade race trainer David Pipe sponsored at Chepstow on Friday and escapes a penalty here. He was 5lb out of the weights that day, so he is effectively running off a 6lb lower mark with jockey Gearoid Harney able to claim the full 7lb, and looks an obvious chance to follow up.

Gris Majeur (3.00 Hereford)

A 13-length winner of a bumper when trained in Ireland, improved for getting back on better ground when winning a novice hurdle over course and distance in March 2022 before following up in a similar heat under a penalty at Ludlow six weeks later. He didn't really kick on from those when entering handicaps, but he never got suitable conditions, with the ground too slow or the trip too short in five starts that followed. He wasn't seen for 549 days before reappearing at Worcester last month and should strip fitter for that here. The track and trip suit and this well-handicapped sort gets the services of Sean Bowen.

Annie Wicks (3.30 Hereford)

Showed a huge improvement on her hurdles form when sent chasing on a sharp right-handed track, comfortably winning a handicap at Taunton in March before running a fine race behind a well-handicapped one over course and distance in May. Her tendency to jump right-handed was never going to help at Southwell when last seen in June and she can bounce back here after a break.
