The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson's three horse racing tips from Cheltenham, Doncaster and Chelmsford on Saturday

Reporter

Three horses to include in a treble on Saturday . . .

Broadway Boy (2.20 Cheltenham)

Broadway Boy looked like a smart prospect at the start of last season and it's easy to forgive him two poor runs in Graded company at Warwick and Aintree, especially as they came away from Cheltenham, where he has shown his best form. He's three from four at the track, with his only defeat coming when trying to give Flooring Porter 5lb in a novice last October, and is only 3lb higher than when scoring in a handicap over course and distance in December. The Twiston-Davies yard is in good form and he's sure to be primed.

Detain (2.40 Doncaster)

Detain is unbeaten in two starts at Kempton and was last seen defying a penalty two weeks ago, when tanking along in front and being driven clear for a seven-length success, achieving an RPR (103) just 4lb shy of the stable's Solario winner Field Of Gold. He's a half-brother to the yard's St Leger runner-up Arrest, who loves soft ground, and his knee action suggest he will relish cut in the ground too. He could be special.

Agostino (6.00 Chelmsford)

Agostino has a very solid record at Chelmsford, with form figures of 3241310, and that latest effort can be ignored as he was far too keen in a first-time hood in a 6f handicap here three weeks ago. He was well supported that day though, and that headgear is swiftly removed, so better can be expected dropping back to 5f off a mark 4lb below his last winning one.
