The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson's three horse racing tips from Aintree and Wincanton on Sunday

Reporter

Three horses to include in a treble on Sunday . . .

Copperhead (2.25 Aintree)

Copperhead was winning for the first time in more than four years when scoring comfortably over this trip at Plumpton in May and I was sceptical as to whether he would back that up, but he did so emphatically at Chepstow two weeks ago, travelling sweetly and finding plenty when asked. He is still incredibly well handicapped on his old form and should have no trouble defying a 5lb higher mark if in a similar mood.

Le Ligerien (2.42 Wincanton)

Le Ligerian staged a resurgence after being given wind surgery last year, rising from a mark of 113 to 135 having won four times. He lost his form at the back-end of last season but he may have had a problem as he's been given a second lot of wind surgery. He's got himself very well handicapped again and is the pick of Brendan Powell of the Tizzard pair.

Credo (3.15 Wincanton)

Credo was an emphatic winner of this race last year on her reappearance and can land the spoils again off a 5lb higher mark. She'd done all her winning before that on good ground, so returning to a sounder surface might be of benefit, and she has a fantastic record fresh, so everything looks in place for a big run.
