The Punt Acca: Harry Wilson bids to follow up two Saturday winners with three tips from Cheltenham on Sunday
Three horses to include in a treble on Sunday . . .
Leader In The Park (1.45 Cheltenham)
A lightly raced six-year-old, Leader In The Park showed plenty of promise over hurdles, notably splitting 132-rated and 129-rated rivals at Ascot on his debut last November and getting the better of a subsequent winner at Doncaster in February. He looks an obvious type to improve over fences, given he was picked up for £250,000 after winning a point-to-point by 56 lengths in February last year and is a half-brother to dual Grade 1-winning chaser Benefficient. He should have plenty of scope from an opening mark of 121.
Hymac (2.55 Cheltenham)
Hymac hadn't won in five starts since making an impressive stable debut in a bumper two years ago but finally fulfilled that promise when taking a 3m4f handicap chase on the New course here in April. That was his first go at a marathon trip and on good ground, and he relished the test, finding plenty on the run-in to hold a subsequent winner. He won on his reappearance over hurdles last month and should continue his progress here.
Minella Hollow (4.00 Cheltenham)
Minella Hollow looked a useful prospect when winning two bumpers earlier in the year, overcoming greenness to see off a subsequent dual winner at Ballinrobe in May before giving 9lb and a six-length beating to a previous winner at Roscommon in June. He still looked very much in need of the experience last time, with his raw ability seeing him comfortably stretch clear in the final furlong, and is clear of the field on Racing Post Ratings.
