The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins' three horse racing tips at Leicester and Wincanton on Thursday

Three horses to include in a treble

Sixmilebridge (12.25 Leicester)

Beat a couple of subsequent winners when making a successful debut under rules at Sandown in February before running in the Champion Bumper. Sixmilebridge was moved from Ben Pauling to Fergal O'Brien after that Cheltenham Festival race, from which six of the nine horses who have run since have won over hurdles. The five-year-old went close to emulating those Champion Bumper rivals when finishing second on his hurdling debut in October and the form of that 2m½f Stratford novice event was boosted by Nowmelad, who Sixmilebridge beat by a length and a half, winning his next start by 12 lengths from last-time-out Cheltenham fourth Not So Sobers. The son of Affinisea stayed on well at Stratford, so the step up to 2m4½f on slower ground at a more galloping track should suit.

Golden Move (2.05 Wincanton)

Rated 82 on the Flat for Richard Fahey before being bought for 215,000gns by Paul Nicholls. Although beaten when sent off favourite on both of his hurdling starts, the form of of those maiden events looks strong enough to suggest that Golden Move should be winning races in this sphere. The four-year-old beat Solar System, who has won twice since, by six and a half lengths when finishing third behind Doyen Quest at Taunton in February. The winner now has a rating of 135, having subsequently landed three handicaps including two at Cheltenham. Manuelito and I'm Ravenous, who beat Golden Move over course and distance in April, have both won handicaps off a rating of 113 so an opening mark of 107 looks generous for the son of Golden Horn, especially with Freddie Gingell taking a further 3lb off.

Johnny Mac (2.25 Leicester)

The form of his third-placed effort at Warwick last month could not have worked out any better. The winner, Paddy In The Caddy, followed up under a 7lb penalty while the runner-up and fourth have also won since. Johnny Mac was dropped 3lb for that perfectly respectable run which means he is now rated 3lb lower than when successful over this course and distance in January. The nine-year-old beat Hunter Legend and Clonakilty, who have each won two races since, on that occasion and the return to softer ground at a track where he has won both of his chasing starts should help.
