The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins' three horse racing tips at Doncaster and Newbury on Saturday

Three horses to include in a treble on Saturday . . .

Jubilee Alpha (12.07 Newbury)

Harry Cobden and Paul Nicholls enjoyed a solid start to Newbury's Coral Gold Cup meeting with two winners and a second on Friday. The pair could get off to the perfect start at the Berkshire venue on Saturday when Jubilee Alpha makes her hurdling debut. The fact that Nicholls pitches her straight into Listed company without a run over hurdles suggests that the five-year-old has schooled well at home. She won a Wincanton bumper before finishing second of 16 in a Grade 2 at the Grand National meeting. Jubilee Alpha beat Listentoyourheart by three lengths at Aintree and meets that rival on 3lb better terms here, so she should confirm the form. Nicholls' last winner of this race, Posh Trish, also contested that same Aintree race before landing this in 2018.

Betterforeveryone (2.37 Doncaster)

Beat Almazhar Garde, who subsequently won off the same mark, by 14 lengths at this track in February and the third-placed Horacio Apple's has also won his sole start since. Event Of Sivola, Stringtoyourbow and Big Blue Moon were all pulled up behind Betterforeveryone in that contest yet have gone on to win four races between them. The selection also chased home Fenland Tiger, who followed up off 7lb higher, over course and distance in January so clearly performs well at this venue. The seven-year-old was an encouraging fourth on his reappearance, especially when you consider that the winner from that Chepstow race last month, King Turgeon, won the Grand Sefton on his next start and the runner-up, Ajp Kingdom, has since scored by 15 lengths. Betteforeveryone is likely to improve for that run and should have a huge chance off an unchanged rating of 112 for Alan King, who has already sent out a couple of winners this week.

Broadway Boy (3.00 Newbury)

Rated only 2lb higher than when beating subsequent Ryanair Chase winner Protektorat at this 3m2f trip at Cheltenham in November last year. He has a bit to find with Senior Chief on their meeting last month but Henry de Bromhead likes to target that particular Cheltenham handicap and only Total Recall, for Willie Mullins in 2017, has won this race for Ireland since 1980. Broadway Boy meets Senior Chief on 10lb better terms and should improve for his first start since running in the Mildmay Novices' Chase in April. He could emulate the last six-year-old to land the Coral Gold Cup, Native River, who ran in that Aintree Grade 1 prior to winning this race in 2016.
