The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins' three horse racing tips at Ayr and Naas

Three horses to include in a treble on Wednesday . . .

Catalyse (1.42 Ayr)

Made a successful debut at Hamilton, a novice event from which the fourth and fifth have both won since, in June and contested the Coventry Stakes over the same 6f trip the same month. Although Catalyse was only 12th in the Royal Ascot Group 2, the form has continually been franked since and Richard Fahey's juvenile should be good enough to concede 7lb and a beating here in a much weaker event, providing he handles the step up in trip and is not too rusty after a 93-day absence.

Lunigiana (2.25 Naas)

Beaten only by the unbeaten Babouche, who has subsequently landed the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes, when second of 15 on her debut and has performed with credit when making the frame on her three starts since. Lunigiana was third in a 19-runner Curragh maiden on her penultimate start, finishing  two lengths behind the Aidan O'Brien-trained Monumental, who has since gone on to finish second in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes. This looks a good opportunity for Willie McCreery's filly to gain a deserved victory at the fifth attempt.

Frank The Spark (2.42 Ayr)

Beaten a short-head over course and distance by Zuffolo, who has since sored off 5lb higher, in July and followed up that near miss with wins at Nottingham and Beverley. Frank The Spark beat Snow Berry, who won her next start when rated 1lb higher, by a length and a half on his penultimate start. The four-year-old takes on eight largely out of form rivals and should complete the hat-trick, so long as handicap debutant Canon's House is not well treated off an opening mark of 69.
