The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins bids to follow up an 11-4 winner with three horse racing tips at Market Rasen and Taunton
Three horses to include in a treble on Thursday . . .
Ugo Bingo (1.05 Taunton)
Finished sixth on his seasonal debut in a Newton Abbot novice hurdle won by subsequent Grade 2 Cheltenham fourth Brave Knight. The runner-up, Dodger Long, went on to win his next two starts including in a valuable handicap at Chepstow before chasing home Givemefive at Cheltenham. Ugo Bingo posted another solid effort when fifth in maiden company at Wincanton and the fourth-placed Vaguely Royal franked the form by landing a similar 16-runner race on his next start. The five-year-old has a bit to find with American Land on that meeting but meets that topweight on 16lb better terms here, thanks largely to the in-form Callum Pritchard's claim. Pritchard rode Celebre D'Allen to land a £40,000 prize at Bangor on Wednesday, following on from his front-running heroics on fellow veteran Al Dancer in Saturday's Badger Beer Chase. He could be the difference here in this contest restricted to conditional riders.
Loki's Mischief (1.40 Taunton)
Kauto The King is better known as a chaser and does not look great value at odds-on to get off the mark over hurdles at the tenth attempt compared to Loki's Mischief, who is in a much weaker race than his hurdling debut. The four-year-old finished fourth behind Pony Soprano at Exeter last month in a maiden hurdle from which the runner-up, Sorceleur, went on to record victories on back-to-back days of West Country Weekend. The third-placed Not So Woolly ran respectably again when filling the same position at Lingfield on Tuesday, finishing a place behind a mare who was fourth in Grade 2 company at Aintree on her previous outing.
Eyed (2.05 Market Rasen)
Ended Paul Webber's year-long wait for a winner when winning a Huntingdon handicap hurdle in March last year. Webber has since retired and Eyed made a good start for his new trainer Hughie Morrison when chasing home Camino Rocio at Wincanton last month. The winner defied a 7lb rise to follow up in good style at Huntingdon on Tuesday, which suggests that Eyed should be capable of going one better here off an unchanged mark of 100. He was clearly well fancied last time, given that he was sent off the 11-4 favourite, and the seven-year-old could reward patient punters here.
