The Punt Acca: Andrew Cooper's three horse racing tips at Kempton on Wednesday

Three horses to include in a multiple on Wednesday . . .

Dembe (4.30 Kempton)

Vibrato, Hello Miss Lady, Dimsons, Kracking and Calanthe have all made the running of late and a solid pace would really suit Dembe. He had plenty in hand at the line despite still sitting in last place at the top of the home straight and forfeiting ground by coming wide over course and distance two runs ago. Simon Pearce's gelding was left poorly placed at Newmarket last time but still managed fifth.

Spirit Lead Me (5.00 Kempton)

Some will probably conclude that the handicapper has Spirit Lead Me’s measure now given he was only third here a fortnight ago having been stuck up a stone for the second of his two nursery wins. I take a different view, though, and feel the way he was coming back at the line having been headed suggests he has a bit more to offer returned to this longer trip of a mile. All of his rivals either need to bounce back, take to their new surroundings straight away or improve for switching to nurseries. 

Blessed Honour (8.00 Kempton)

Ralph Beckett has a couple of interesting runners in the 1m3f qualifier but Godolphin’s Blessed Honour looks a safer option. She beat Power Of Destiny when off the mark two starts ago and connections were probably satisfied with her fourth on her nursery debut after the initial disappointment had subsided. It was her first taste of soft ground at Newbury and she may have been at a disadvantage given she’d been off for 85 days since her breakthrough win.
