Hartur D'Oudairies 1.41 Newbury
Bumper/hurdles winner at around 2m; has had only five races on the Flat, with a mile looking inadequate on first four occasions and 1m2f the same with his staying-on sixth of 14 from the back on Flat handicap debut at York (soft; 33-1) 13 days ago; dropped 2lb and it's not hard to think that he will be a lot more potent this time with the much longer trip.

Altmore 3.18 Doncaster
Won Chepstow maiden (6f, good) last month on his reappearance and second start, and followed up on recent handicap debut at Pontefract (6f, soft); hit with an 11lb rise and faces much tougher opposition today, but he had bundles in hand and could have lots more to offer for his top trainer.

Potters Charm 4.10 Cheltenham
Went for £105,000 after finishing second in an Irish point (yielding) and has comfortably justified favouritism in a bumper (heavy) and maiden hurdle (2m4f, soft) for his new connections; a nice prospect by the looks.
