Placed in two 2m3f novice hurdles (both on soft) last season before very respectable seventh in Grade 2 on handicap debut at Newbury (2m4f, good to soft) in March; makes seasonal reappearance from 5lb lower in a much easier race and looks the one to beat.

Goblet Of Fire 5.00 Southwell
Progressive on Flat over the summer (form 11312) and only narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton (1m6f) latest, despite racing wide throughout; has already shown ability over hurdles, winning a Hereford maiden (2m) in January, so could be nicely weighted off a mark of 108; strong claims.

Whitcombe Rockstar 7.40 Kempton
He has made giant strides this year, winning five of his six starts (four over C&D) and creating a positive impression in a valuable series final here last month; another 6lb rise to defy today and, while drawn wide, it was stall 14 he defied last time; highly respected.
