Rapidly progressive five-year-old who has really come into his own this year, winning two handicaps in March and bettering those efforts when a comfortable winner on this month's Kelso reappearance (2m5f) off 10lb higher; escapes a penalty for that success and, with Dylan Johnston permitted to claim on this occasion, he could prove difficult to beat.

Marching Mac 5.20 Nottingham
Second on heavy at Bath at start of the month has kicked off a busy spell; second run in less than 24 hours when winning apprentice event at Brighton (5f, good to soft; just 2lb higher today) last Tuesday by 8l; respectable AW second on Saturday and he's brought out quickly again; one to note.

Has looked quirky but he's consistent and took well to new headgear at Southwell (1m4f, AW; off 4lb lower) most recently, opening his account at the tenth attempt; that form has been well advertised by the second and third since; highly respected in the retained visor.
