Much improved for his current yard and he arrives on a hat-trick after easy recent 2m handicap successes at Stratford and Bangor; has a 12lb weights rise to overcome here (including being 1lb out of the handicap) but still holds leading claims.

Won very easily under Billy Loughnane at Ascot (7f, soft; off 15lb lower) three weeks ago, opening his account at the fifth attempt; bred to do better still, being a brother to his stable's dual Group 1 winner Saffron Beach; one to follow.
