Southwell Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders' picks for the £50,000 guarantee meeting

So Smart is well treated on his return to the all-weather and stands out in the opening leg (4.30) of the Placepot at Southwell.

Only a massive underperformance from the well-bred At No Time will see the Juddmonte filly finish out of the places in the 1m3f novice (5.00).

Timetobenice shaped better than the result when fourth at Wolverhampton last week. He is interesting in the 1m3f handicap (5.30) and so is Raja Raja, another lightly raced three-year-old who is bred to prefer this surface.

Ayr Gold Cup fourth Aramis Grey has been in excellent form this season and appeals in the 6f handicap (6.00). She always seems to go well after a break.

Palmar Bay is another big player in the same contest for Ralph Beckett. Jack Doughty taking 5lb off will aid his cause.

My Awele impressed here last time and can double up in the 6f fillies' handicap (6.30). An extra furlong should suit on this rise in class.

Zip It Up, who bolted in on her debut, is emphatically the one to beat under a penalty in the final leg (7.00).
