5-9 around here, his latest win coming over this trip 15 days ago with Parramount just under three lengths back in third; 3lb worse off, but that was only his second attempt at the 1m6f trip and he won in good style, suggesting there may be even more to come under a similar test.

7.05 Southwell: 6f handicap

Improved form (finished third) over course and distance last month when making his handicap debut and fitted with cheekpieces (now wears blinkers); could well build on that effort; highly respected off same mark.

8.20 Wolverhampton: 1m1½f handicap

Runner-up in this race last year and he recorded his ninth all-weather win when making virtually all over course and distance on Boxing Day; that was a very narrow success but he held off a clear second and is only 2lb higher; big player.
