'She shouldn't be anything close to 20-1' - David Jennings answers the key questions ahead of a fantastic Friday on ITV
What's the big story?
Godolphin v Coolmore in the Group 1 bet365 Fillies' Mile (3.35). The unbeaten Desert Flower represents the former and takes on a three-pronged attack from Ballydoyle, which is seemingly spearheaded by January given that Ryan Moore is on board.
But, Desert Flower has already beaten January fair and square in the May Hill Stakes at Doncaster and nothing we saw there would suggest that those tables are about to be turned.
Everything about Desert Flower oozes class and there was not a single moment at Doncaster when she looked in bother. She should uphold that form here.
Oh, by the way, the jumps is back at Chepstow. Glorious. What a time to be alive.

So, who wins the Fillies' Mile (3.35)?
Desert Flower. Easily. She should be odds-on, if you ask me.
We're jumping at Chepstow, who wins Persian War Novices' Hurdle (3.15)?
Even when Teeshan was supposed to make an appearance here, I fancied Ryan's Rocket. The fact there is no sign of Teeshan has seen my confidence soar further. This is a lovely young horse going places.
What's the bet of the day?
It's got to be Midnight Thunder in the Cornwallis Stakes (1.47) at Newmarket.
He had a 7lb penalty at Yarmouth last time but still devoured a decent-looking field, after which he went into the 'back until he gets beaten' category. He looks to have enough speed to cope with the drop to the minimum trip and should be extremely hard to beat, especially if the ground is riding on the soft side.
And the lay of the day?
Cathedral could be special, who knows, but she will need to be all she's cracked up to be to win a hot Oh So Sharp Stakes (2.25) at Newmarket and 11-4 looks incredibly short.
Flight could take off and ensure a crash landing for the Amo-owned filly.
Any outsiders worth following?
Yes, Vetiver shouldn't be anything close to 20-1 for the Group 2 Challenge Stakes (3.00) at Newmarket, and, while 8-1 is not a massive price, Hafeet Alain looks to have a cracking chance in the opening mile handicap (1.30) at York.
