Our tipsters pick out their best bets for Saturday's ITV Racing action from Ascot, Haydock and Kempton . . .

Prague

1.15 Haydock: Best Odds On The Betfair Exchange Superior Mile Stakes (Group 3), 1m

By Ben Hutton, Spotlight writer

The lightly raced four-year-old Cicero's Gift is very much of interest judged on his handicap win off top weight at Sandown in July, but he's since flopped on good to firm going at Goodwood and the warm weather forecast suggest this ground will be drying out.

Preference is for another lightly raced four-year-old in Prague, who has shaped as though he will be suited by this drop to a mile. The admirably consistent Holloway Boy is second choice, although Witch Hunter and Regal Reality are other possible dangers.

The Wizard Of Eye

1.35 Ascot: bet365 Handicap, 7f

By Stuart Redding, Weekender tipster

The Wizard Of Eye has produced two solid efforts since joining Charlie Fellowes and should be thereabouts again. He showed a good turn of foot to win over this course and distance in May, and probably ran to a similar level in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes when Group 1 opposition over 6f proved a bit too much for him.

Road To Wembley

1.50 Haydock: Betfair Plays Different Handicap, 1m6f

By Tom Gibbings, Weekender tipster

Road To Wembley looks a stayer on an upward curve and is taken to follow up his cosy Newcastle success here. Having been heavily supported, the market leader moved smoothly into contention to hit the front before always doing enough to hold off his pursuers close home. That was a ready performance and, with a 4lb rise looking on the lenient side, he should be well up to defying his new mark.

French Duke

2.10 Ascot: Chapel Down Handicap, 1m4f

By James Hill, Weekender tipster

It's an open race but, that said, French Duke looks to hold the best piece of form after winning a Class 2 at Glorious Goodwood. Roger Varian's colt is up 9lb for that victory, but the front pair pulled nearly four lengths clear of the field and I'm not sure he has to improve too much to be winning this. Rain would definitely bring both Goodwood Odyssey and The Reverend into contention.

Waxing Gibbous

2.25 Haydock: Betfair Exchange Old Borough Cup Handicap, 1m6f

By Stuart Redding, Weekender tipster

Waxing Gibbous has decent each-way claims. The four-year-old has posted three good efforts this season, with the highlight a Newbury win in May when beating Naasma comfortably despite idling in front. A second at Kempton five weeks later was another solid effort and stepping up to a new trip could help her take another leap forward. Epic Poet is a big danger.

Kalpana

2.35 Kempton: Unibet September Stakes, 1m4f

By Tom Gibbings, Weekender tipster

Kalpana could not have been more impressive when sauntering to victory in a Hamilton Listed event. Travelling powerfully throughout, she settled matters in decisive fashion to score with plenty in hand. While this field will provide a much sterner test, Andrew Balding's filly looks progressive and can claim this prize before having her sights raised.

Shagraan

3.00 Haydock: Betfair Be Friendly Handicap, 5f

By Stuart Redding, Weekender tipster

Shagraan has posted a string of good efforts this summer and gained a well-deserved win at Goodwood in August. Mick Appleby's gelding fared best of the three-year-olds when fifth at York last time out and he can add another victory in what looks a slightly less competitive contest.

Talis Evolvere

3.15 Kempton: Unibet London Mile Series Final Handicap, 1m

By James Hill, Weekender tipster

The Hannon and Haggas yards have won this race four times between them since 2013. William Haggas saddles the favourite here, but at bigger odds the Richard Hannon-trained Talis Evolvere is the more eyecatching. He's been dropped 1lb following his fifth in the Shergar Cup, when he arguably should have been closer, while he's also a course-and-distance winner this year.

Inisherin

3.35 Haydock: Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes (Group 1), 6f

By Stuart Redding, Weekender tipster

Inisherin looks a solid favourite here. He didn't quite stay a mile in the 2,000 Guineas, but looked much more comfortable over this trip when easily winning here and then at Royal Ascot. Newmarket's undulations didn't suit when he was only fifth in the July Cup, but that was still a respectable effort and he'll be much more comfortable back on this flatter track. Last year's runner-up Shouldvebeenaring is the most appealing of the older runners.
