Newmarket nap

Righthere Rightnow (1.50 Doncaster)

Richard Spencer's classy youngster has made giant strides since scoring impressively on his debut at Newmarket last month.

The Punt nap

llinois (3.40 Doncaster)

Won the Queen's Vase at this trip and followed up that Royal Ascot victory with solid seconds over 1m4f. This longer distance under Wayne Lordan should suit.

Handicappers' nap

Native Warrior (5.25 Doncaster)

The Karl Burke-trained colt has improved with virtually every run, performing with credit in strong handicaps on his last two starts. This is competitive again, but he looks nicely treated up just 1lb for his latest second at Glorious Goodwood.

Eyecatcher

Mrs Bagerran (7.18 Musselburgh)

Tracy Waggott's mare is a two-time course-and-distance winner who ran well from a poor draw here on her belated return to action. She's entitled to come on for that, and is better drawn this time.

Speed figures

Spirit Mixer (2.40 Chester)

Clocked a good time for the grade when winning over course and distance last month. This is a tougher race but, off just a 4lb higher mark, he has the ability to win from a handy low draw.

Dark horse

Deira Mile (3.40 Doncaster)

Was an impressive winner at Windsor in April before finishing an eyecatching fourth in the Derby. The step up in trip should bring out further improvement and his trainer Owen Burrows is in fine form, having already saddled a winner at the meeting this week.
