Saturday's free racing tips: five horses to consider putting in your multiple bets
Saturday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters . . .
Handicappers' nap
Rohaan (3.55 Ascot)
This David Evans-trained sprinter has an excellent record over course and distance, winning five of his nine starts. Not the horse he was, but still capable enough to win a similar race off 6lb higher last October and everything looks in place for a big run.
Paul Curtis
Eyecatcher
Age Of Gold (4.07 Haydock)
Charlie Appleby's runner got going just too late at York and will appreciate the step up in trip.
Ron Wood
The Punt nap
Rohaan (3.55 Ascot)
Caught the eye when drawn on the wrong side in the Stewards' Cup last time and races off a 6lb lower mark here. He's unbeaten in five starts outside Group 1 company over course and distance and can take advantage of his good mark for David Evans.
Harry Wilson
Newmarket nap
Toy Soldier (3.45 Kempton)
George Scott has his team in good shape and this youngster is expected to make a bold bid after some decent work on the all-weather surfaces.
David Milnes
Speed figures
Vultar (3.15 Kempton)
A much better performer on the all-weather. Clocked best speed figure at Southwell, while last three runs at Kempton have yielded two wins and a second place.
Craig Thake
Dark horse
Art Power (3.35 Haydock)
Last season’s Group 1 Champions Sprint winner has run with great credit in defeat this year. He finally gets his ground and could be hard to peg back at a big price if getting an early lead.
