Sandown Placepot tips: Paul Kealy's perm for the £100,000 guaranteed pool

Star Of Orion is the class act in Sandown's opener (1.50) as he usually keeps better company, and he should at least manage a place in the first three. 

For Placepot purposes, though, it's worth adding Waiting All Night, who beat him last time and is arguably the most progressive horse in the field.

Tamfana's Classic placings give her easily the best form in the second (2.25), and I'd be in no rush to try to get her out of the frame as she seems versatile regarding tactics.

I would not be remotely interested in favourite Balmacara in the next (3.00), though, as he has never raced on quick ground, which it will surely be, and his action is very much that of a soft-ground performer.

Back in handicap company, Newmarket winner Involvement is the one to beat, while this is a bit easier than some of the races Sean has been running in.

I much prefer Royal Playwright over favourite Field Of Gold in the Solario (3.35), but will add Tiger Mask, who is the likely place angle in the race.

There isn't much to go on in the next (4.10), and none of them have any big entries, but Flight sets a reasonable standard, and while a beaten favourite on her second start, the winner has bolted up again since and is now ante-post favourite for the Group 2 Rockfel.

The final leg (4.45) is a really tricky nursery in which you could make a case for nearly all the runners. My three token suggestions in a race that will struggle to form a strong opinion are Blewburton, Art Market and Love Is The Law.
