Paul Kealy's play of the day at Wetherby
Genois
The 2m3½f handicap chase (3.00) might well go to bottomweight Genois for Jonjo and AJ O'Neill.
He doesn't have anything like the form of Skelton pair Midnight River and Heltenham, who have won big races, but that's reflected in the fact he gets chunks of weight. He has race fitness on his side having run really well on his stable debut last month, finishing third to Guard Your Dreams.
Genois wasn't beaten far that day and the winner was a close fourth in a better race at Cheltenham next time, so the form is reasonable enough. Although a non-winner over fences, he's fairly treated on his best form with Enda Bolger.
