Paul Kealy's play of the day at Newbury
Demnat
Before the ITV cameras arrive, Demnat could prove a blot on the handicap for Venetia Williams in the Coral Sir Peter O'Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase (12.40).
He looked a country mile ahead of his mark when a 15-length winner on last season's return at Ludlow. He didn't repeat the feat, but he couldn't handle the drop to 2m here and then ran in two 3m races at festivals, so he was a bit highly tried.
He looks very dangerous off a mark of just 127.
