He didn't have much of a campaign last year, running just four times and disappointing on three of them, but he was third in the Coral Gold Cup off a 3lb higher mark and he's clearly well handicapped on that Ultima third to Corach Rambler and Fastorslow at the end of the 2022-23 season.

He has an entry in the Coral Gold Cup next week, but I'm working on the assumption he won't be going there, and that connections like the look of this much easier prize.

Monbeg Genius pulled up first time out last year, but he hadn't been asked a question at Ascot when making a horrific blunder five out, and he has won fresh in the past, albeit not recently.
