Nottingham Placepot tips: Harry Wilson serves up his perm for the £50,000 guaranteed pool

We need to find the winner to get us through the opening four-runner maiden (2.00), which is tricky with not much between the three with experience and a well-bred newcomer to consider.

Blue Laced isn't ruled out with much confidence, but Jowddah has displayed plenty of promise on her two starts and the step up to 1m½f could suit. Tattycoram, who shaped well on soft ground on her debut, is in as back-up.

Veblen Good handled soft ground on his debut and should improve for that outing in the following 5f maiden (2.35). The drop in trip could suit Think Of A Name and he goes in too.

Stirrup Cup was an excellent second at Ayr 12 days ago and will be better for the return to soft ground in the next (3.10), as will Blewburton, who will benefit from dropping back in trip.

Fantasy Master, who won this in 2022 and was a narrow runner-up last year, should help us safely navigate the 6f handicap (3.45), while Knight Templar, whose form is working out well, and the quirky Wahraan are the picks in the 1m6f handicap (4.20).

Ardbraccan, who has gone close on a few occasions since his soft-ground course win in April, will be hard to keep out of the frame in the finale (4.55).
