Newcastle Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders' picks for the £50,000 guarantee

Prince Achille, successful on two of his last three starts over course and distance, should enjoy returning to Newcastle in the opening leg (4.00) of the Placepot.

Julie Camacho knows the family of Mu Mu Land well and this colt produced a promising effort over the minimum distance on his debut at Beverley last month. The 6f maiden (4.30) looks a nice spot for him.

Sure And Stedfast and Sherlock are two interesting handicap debutants in the 7f nursery (5.00). This sort of test should suit both nicely.

Wyvern outran odds of 100-1 when third over track and trip last month and is worth considering in the mile handicap (5.30). Dingwall caught the eye staying on into fourth at Wolverhampton last time after missing the break and will be a player if breaking on terms.

Fariha will never live up to her outstanding pedigree, but she ran well here last season and is worth a look in the 7f handicap (6.00). As is Finn Ironside on his first all-weather outing of the year.

The Roger Varian-trained My Cloud towers above the rest in a weak mile novice (6.30) that concludes the perm.
