Newcastle Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders' picks for the £50,000 guarantee

Three Platoon scored in good style over course and distance last week and gets the nod under a penalty in the 1m2f handicap (5.00) that opens the Newcastle Placepot. Bottomweight Uwaittillplaytime is interesting upped to this distance.

Lightly raced three-year-olds Sydney Seabreeze and Unique Spirit meet exposed opposition in the staying handicap (5.30) and arrive in good nick.

Indy's Angel bolted up here seven days ago and a reproduction of that performance would see her go close in the 6f nursery (6.00). Ollie Sangster is one from one at this venue and that makes outstandingly bred handicap debutante Empowered Queen a reasonable back-up play.

Brividi shaped promisingly on her debut in January and would have a say in a weak 7f novice (6.30) on that form. Genta makes some appeal for Alice Haynes as well.

Minnie Wildes hacked up on her debut and is a major player in the 6f novice (7.00). Newcomer Second Name catches the eye as a half-brother to the same connections' Sakheer.

Court Drive, who shaped better than the result when third in a 5f handicap here last time, should relish an extra furlong in the 6f handicap (7.30).
