LATTAASH couldn't fail to win a weak novice last time but that should have done him good and it was on the back of a promising handicap run at Newcastle which can be upgraded. Newsreader should appreciate this return to 7f and he's on the shortlist along with Perennial, Palmar Bay and So Quiet.
