Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Ffos Las

1.15: Icaque De L'Isle

Richard Bandey's ICAQUE DE L'ISLE (nap) returned to form with a clear second at Worcester last month and is perhaps fortunate to have escaped with just a 1lb nudge for that. He gets the verdict. Nothing went to plan for Phantom Getaway during his first season over fences but he had a wind op during his break and resumes on a dangerous mark. Village Master has an impeccable 5-5 strike-rate over fences and is next on the list.

Naas

12.50: Zariygann

An ordinary sort on the Flat, ZARIYGANN (nap) has prospects of keeping his unbeaten hurdles record intact with his Listowel win boosted by a Grade 3 win for the runner-up. Pinot Gris, second in the Lartigue at Listowel, can give him a stern test.

Sandown

2.50: Lario

This is much less competitive than the big-field novice final in which LARIO (nap) finished in midfield over C&D in April on his handicap debut and this unexposed 5yo gets the nod for the in-form Harry Derham. Ooh Betty showed solid form in good mares' novice events earlier this year and may be the chief threat, while Hystery Bere could appreciate the drop back in trip now he's reverting to hurdles and Don Hollow is of interest on his second start back from a long absence.
