Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Pontefract

1.17: Dark Rosa

Being a progressive filly who has solid form and scored over course and distance most recently, Dark Rosa holds particularly strong claims. Top Juggler (second choice) and Sir Palamedes are other last-time winners who look open to further improvement, while Stirrup Cup has possibilities in the retained blinkers.

Yarmouth

5.10: Never Better

A quality handicap, featuring a few progressive three-year-olds, can go to the lightly raced Never Better, who remains open to further improvement after his recent Ayr near-miss. The hat-trick-seeking Tribal Chief (second choice) and Terries Royale, who may head for the far rail given his propensity to hang left, are obvious dangers, while a better effort from Dream Pirate wouldn't surprise back on turf.

Killarney

4.05: Radar Ahead

Joseph O'Brien's team is in excellent form and Radar Ahead should be hard to beat on the strength of last week's Bellewstown second behind a Ballydoyle-trained filly. Market Timing did not seem to stay 1m6f at Navan and may reverse the form of that race with third-placed Get. The twice-raced Elano Tisario may also feature.

Fairyhouse

1.58: Sansrisk

This looks a good opportunity for bumper winner Sansrisk who showed good form against useful opposition in two outings over hurdes last winter. Hurdling debutant Fillusin looks the main threat while International Lady has made quite a good start to her hurdling career and has place claims.

Stratford

4.27: Eaton Anne

His handicap debut comes after a 131-day break but winning Irish pointer Eaton Anne launched his hurdling career with two good efforts in the spring and could still have a lot more to offer. Front-running mare Hard As Nails may also still have potential and is next on the list, ahead of River Robe and Paddys Island.

Wolverhampton

8.30: Sankari

The fitting of cheekpieces and the return to the all-weather has seen a return to form from Sankari and he looks to have a good chance of following up his Southwell win. Phoenix Beach should be involved again while Under Curfew and Spanish Angel can also have cases made.
