Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Lingfield

2.47: Mart

Supreme King is the obvious starting point after his bloodless success over C&D nine days ago. He looks well in under a penalty but this looks a slightly stronger race and perhaps MART will have his measure. Dylan Cunha's 3yo has some unappealing form figures but he's back down the weights and his latest run, when unable to adopt his usual prominent position after a messy start, wasn't too bad in the circumstances. This race doesn't look overloaded with early speed and he's an interesting contender. Acklam Express and Rebel Empire look best of the rest.

Uttoxeter

2.00: Port Or Starboard

Bernard Llewellyn's consistent 7yo PORT OR STARBOARD had been absent for almost exactly a year before shaping well over C&D three weeks ago and is taken to exploit a career-low hurdle mark today. Nedzor has plenty of scope to build upon this month's Leicester second and is feared most, while Eaton Anne is a contender if back on song and Dickens also has possibilities.

Warwick

12.20: Elle Est Beau

On the promise of her best form last season and given the positive comeback run on good ground that was probably not ideal, there's every reason to believe that ELLE EST BEAU will put up a bold show. Stardhem appeared to be gifted his last race but still came up short, so comfortable Leicester winner Lord Of All Saints looks the danger.

Punchestown

2.35: The Nagger Reidy

An interesting rematch between Farmers Lodge and In For The Night on recent Fairyhouse form, but the pair could find themselves up against a better-handicapped rival in THE NAGGER REIDY, whose narrow Tipperary defeat was franked by the winner following up at Leopardstown last week. Ballywilliam Boy and Away To Milan hold place claims, while Stormbreaker is a potential improver if settling better.
