Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

4.30 Brigadier Kakuru

Those with previous handicap form need to improve, and it could pay to side with Brigadier Kakuru who appeared not to stay 7f last time and should be suited by a return to 6f on his nursery debut. Bansha Belle is relatively unexposed and rates a danger. Vanilla Baby and Movin And Groovin look best of those with handicap experience.

3.07: Culligran

Villainess hasn't been at her best in a hood of late but she has good claims on last season's form and, with headgear discarded and back at 2m, she can be the main danger to Culligran. The latter has been suited by a bare 2m on her last two starts and, against rivals with something to prove, she has a fair chance of following up her recent C&D win. It's Easy and the Emma Lavelle pair A Little Something and Lady Caro are also in the mix.

Hexham

2.20: Robert D'Ores

This is not nearly as competitive as the numbers suggest and it looks a very good opportunity for Robert D'Ores to build on his excellent C&D second last time out and gain a breakthrough success. The lightly raced Time Was could emerge as the main danger to George Bewley's 7yo, with in-form pair Dequall and Reagrove Lord also in the picture. Clovis Boy completes the shortlist.

Kempton

5.10: Master Technician

This is a stiffer test for Hippocratic Oath in his hat-trick bid and the pair at the head of the weights appeal more. Wild Nature is proving expensive to follow but he can be given a pass for his latest defeat where he was poorly positioned in a steadily run C&D nursery. He is greatly respected but Master Technician was a comfortable winner at Musselburgh five weeks ago, keeping on strongly in a well-run race. His earlier Chelmsford third (7f), in which he ran fastest for each of the final three furlongs, offers hope that he will have the versatility required if this gets tactical.
