Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Dundalk

4.25: Say It So
A poor handicap. Duke Otto has been running well over hurdles and should be competitive off this mark, and similar comments can be made about Jinxs Link. Bright Start will go well on his latest start here. The one to beat should be top-weight Say It So, up 10lb for a decisive win at Navan and will be hard to stop in this company.

Hereford

2.35: Any Biscuits
There is probably still more to come from low-mileage 7yo Any Biscuits, who struck form with two wins in spring 2023 and was quickly back in the groove with a creditable effort on last month's reappearance outing. Winning pointer Gillespie Road makes his handicap debut here and is feared most. Don Rafael has been in good form on good ground lately and won't be far away if not inconvenienced by the slightly slower conditions today.

Market Rasen

3.00: Pats Dream
Several have possibilities but it's worth sticking with Pats Dream, who justified favouritism on his recent stable debut at Ayr and is open to more progress over fences. Last month's Sedgefield runner-up Coolmoyne is feared most ahead of Anytrixwilldo, who is on a dangerous mark and was beaten less than 3l at Hereford last time. Percy Veering has claims if he can get back on track after another wind operation, while another to keep an eye on is Henry Daly's unexposed chaser Duke Of Moravia.

Wetherby

1.00: Skycutter
Although not bred for fences, Skycutter looked a fairly safe conveyance on his first attempt when chasing home the favourite at Warwick. He's into a handicap this time but he can deal with this mark. Caithness rates a solid alternative and, with Olly Murphy banging in winners all over the shop, Saladam could be a factor on his chase debut.
