Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings
Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Southwell
7.05: Grey Operations
Likely to build on last month's course-and-distance effort, GREY OPERATIONS (nap) holds a particularly strong chance off the same mark in a change of headgear (he shaped as if blinkers will provide a further boost). Kaleidoscope Eyes (second choice) has solid-looking claims, while Andalseeyagraham warrants respect as he's the sole winner in this field having got off the mark last Saturday. Plenty of the others are difficult to rule out at this level.

6.20: Optician
Wonder is the dark horse after just the five starts and his pedigree suggests this big step up in trip is worth a go, but this may lie between two old rivals. It's one apiece between OPTICIAN (nap) and Parramount over course and distance, but the former was having only his second go at the trip when winning well here 15 days ago and he may still have more to offer as a stayer.
