Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

4.00: Sayifyouwill

A few of these make some appeal, such as Shoot To Kill with consistent handicap form over this trip, and Comfort Line even if the shorter trip is not his best. The selection is Sayifyouwill who readily accounted for Comfort Line in a mile claimer here last month and should do so again.

Haydock

1.10: White Rhino

An interesting race in which White Rhino is taken to make it two over fences, although he faces two promising chase debutants in President Scottie and Beneficially Yours.

Kempton

7.10: Roi De France

Three-year-olds have won four of the last five runnings of the Hyde Stakes (only one lined up in the year an older horse won) and this looks a good next step for Roi De France. He did very well to land a 0-105 handicap over course and distance a fortnight ago. The class acts of the race, Poker Face (second choice) and Holloway Boy, need to bounce back but are capable of doing so.

Lingfield

3.25: Overnight Oats

This can go to the resurgent hat-trick seeker Overnight Oats, who finished well when scoring from a wide draw at Wolverhampton last time and remains very well treated on his old form. Most of the others have plenty to prove but River Wharfe was a creditable second at Brighton last time and he looks the main danger.

Ludlow

1.30: Jolyjump

Ostrava Du Berlais bumped into a big improver when second at Warwick a fortnight ago and gets another chance off the same mark here but Jolyjump was a very stylish winner at Southwell 19 days ago and is taken to overcome a 9lb rise. Dromlac Jury ended up having a hard race on his seasonal/chase debut but has a big role to play if in the same form again.
