Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Doncaster

3.22: No No Fizz

The progressive mare NO NO FIZZ (nap) readily made all at Musselburgh three weeks ago and can complete the hat-trick. Willie Shake Hands travelled well when a promising third over 2m3f here on his recent handicap debut and he may be the chief threat now back down in trip. The Nicky Henderson-trained handicap newcomer Lady d'Arbanville is another possible player.

12.53: Dunnet Head

Second choice Nab Wood is a progressive 7yo with more to offer and not opposed lightly, even after quite a while off the track. Young Jack and Bertie B have claims, but DUNNET HEAD (nap) has races in him off this mark and he's back over hurdles after failing to fire on his chase debut.

Leopardstown

3.40: Koktail Brut

It was hard not to be impressed by the manner of KOKTAIL BRUT's win at Fairyhouse and he could be tough to beat. Sortudo also won well at Tramore and he could be the main danger if handling this better ground. Switch From Diesel has solid course form in the book and she should improve plenty for her seasonal reappearance at Limerick. The selection's stablemate William Butler completes the shortlist.

Limerick

2.17: Sommesky

This looks a good opportunity for course bumper winner SOMMESKY (nap) who ran a lovely race on hurdling debut when fourth in a better race at Fairyhouse. Custom Taylor, in common with the selection, will enjoy stepping up in trip and can confirm Galway placings with Mi Lucky Cailin. Declan Queally's mare is capable of putting it up to the likely favourite.

11.05: Rebel Empire

A revelation on his Tapeta debut when bolting up over C&D in a first-time tongue-tie ten days ago, REBEL EMPIRE (nap) is taken to defy a 9lb rise in the weights. Toptime, who landed a third course win here recently, rates the main danger in a handicap in which several are hard to fancy.
