Sassy Redhead got upset at Chelmsford a fortnight ago on her return from a break and her record over course and distance entitles her to respect if she's in a better frame of mind. Walking On Clouds is very well treated now but has always looked happier on Tapeta and Lion Ring is therefore selected to defy a further 3lb rise and win his fifth consecutive race when on Polytrack. Phoenix Moon is second choice.

1.25: Autonomous Cloud

A good staying handicap. Autonomous Cloud stays further but he's fine at 3m when there's give underfoot and a recent run over hurdles could give him a fitness edge over some of his rivals. Although Shan Blue hasn't won since his crunching fall in the Charlie Hall three years ago, there was nothing wrong with his final two efforts in good Ascot handicaps. Regal Blue is the likely improver but heavy ground would be his preference.

Topweight Fourofakind has done very well since joining Lizzie Quinlan in the summer and can post his third win for the yard. Kilbrainy returned to form with a win at Carlisle three weeks ago and is feared most, ahead of Dianne Sayer's new recruit Highly Recommended who won in good style at Ludlow last time.

This looks open. Flashthecash arguably has the best overall form but is well exposed and is now tackling a new trip. Slight preference is for Six Thirty who showed considerable improvement on his second start and may uphold form with I Am Me who has been placed on turf more recently. A case could be made for Forza Toro and Aviatrice.

Rose Light, back at the scene of her sole win, is second choice ahead of Destinado who could stage a revival in this scenario. Fiftyshadesaresdev is 0-27 but has possibilities on recent efforts.
