Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Fairyhouse

3.25: Hees Dynamite

It should pay to side with Hees Dynamite, who has been improving steadily and can defy a 7lb rise for last month's Limerick win. Evolving is a possible danger in her first handicap. Hurricane Honey shaped quite well on her first run for her new stable. Kate Ill Know was in good form over hurdles before an unplaced chase outing.

Newcastle

4.25: Flying Fletcher

Recent winner Wren Officer should give a good account back here but Another Investment can be a bigger danger now returned to this track for the first time since his good course-and-distance third 12 months ago. However, Flying Fletcher looks a sprinter with potential on this surface and, despite the query about the limited action since he won here in December, he can prove too good for his more exposed rivals.

Redcar

1.25: King's Scholar

This looks best left to King's Scholar, whose soft-ground win at Catterick came in a manner suggesting that this longer trip would suit. Ed Walker's charge is taken to defy a penalty. Gastronomy has largely been consistent of late and if handling these conditions he could be the most serious danger. Kitsune Power is respected and keep an eye on the market as both Billy No Mates and Haarar are well treated if revived.

Sedgefield

3.55: Apples Moon

Nicky Martin's Apples Moon found another unexposed mare just too good at Hereford three weeks ago but that was still a very creditable performance, and she retains scope to progress from her winning handicap debut two starts ago. She gets the vote ahead of Vanilla Dancer, who returned from a break with an encouraging run last month and also still has low mileage. Lenebane and Bobbigrey are others to consider.

Warwick

3.00: God's Own Getaway

The Dan Skelton-trained God's Own Getaway wouldn't have been far away at Kempton last time had he not mullered two out and this sharper trip is fine for him. His claims are strengthened by the fact that two of his more interesting rivals are chase debutants, namely I'm Ravenous (second choice) and Yes Day.
