Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Fairyhouse

4.35: Fivecromwellplace

Not many of these come into this race in form. The Bear Trap could go well if fully tuned after a break and Glamorously is another with a chance. Nikki Swango is lurking on a dangerous mark if rediscovering her best form. However, FIVECROMWELLPLACE (nap) looks the most solid option. He has run well on four of his last five starts, he has won at this trip and quick ground will suit.

Hamilton

1.48: Rebecca's Girl

This looks a good opportunity for the in-form REBECCA'S GIRL (nap), who has continued to run well since winning last month on her second stable start. Absolute Dream has won on his last two visits to Hamilton and is feared most ahead of Temper Trap, who also likes it here.

Listowel

4.20: No Niki No

Plenty here with chances but they could be a more appealing bunch. The possibly improving Thor's Hammer looks likely to appreciate the trip. Roscommon winner Vestigia should go well in his first handicap, while Ger O'Leary has two decent candidates in Scholarship and Jabbar. The one to beat could well be NO NIKI NO (nap), who has kept her form well and the form of her win at Sligo last time was well advertised by runner-up Beechwood since.

Sedgefield

4.50: Chemical Warfare

David Pipe's CHEMICAL WARFARE (nap) arrives here in a good run of form and he's not yet fully exposed as a thorough stayer. The same is true of Ingennio, though he will be into unknown territory a long way from home. The danger could be Getaway Glory if he can shrug aside his below-par run last time.

Wolverhampton

8.00: Waleyfa

Top of the list is WALEYFA (nap), who made it 2-3 for her current yard when scoring at Brighton last Tuesday and remains well treated on her old form. Shaka has been running well since July and he's feared most ahead of recent Southwell runner-up Lady Ava. Triple AW winner Prince Ali is on a dangerous mark back in this sphere, while another to keep an eye on is the unexposed handicap newcomer Ya Rayah.
