Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings
Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .
Hereford
3.35: Jazz King
Topweight JAZZ KING (nap) was a good second in a novice hurdle at Stratford when last seen and earns the vote now back in a handicap with promising claimer Murray Dodd booked. Coup De Gold ran well at Stratford last month and is second choice, while Our Dylan can also play a role. Ikigai Star has appealing claims but was declared at Kempton yesterday.
Tim Mitchell
Huntingdon
2.35: Camino Rocio
This can go to CAMINO ROCIO, who dominated a fairly competitive race for the grade when fitted with a visor for his recent stable debut at Wincanton and has scope for further progress for his new yard. The main danger Lunar Ocean made a promising stable/chase at Market Rasen last month, where he led over the final fence but appeared to lose concentration on the run-in and was headed. Kevin Brogan will presumably be keen to not hit the front as early here.
Chris Wilson
Lingfield
1.35: Realisation
Hurlerontheditch remains well handicapped after his good effort at Wetherby but REALISATION made a very promising seasonal/chase debut last month and, with that form already working out well, she gets the vote. Irish point winner Walks Like The Man looks interesting on his chase/stable debut and is next on the list.
Chris Wilson
Southwell
7.00: Dutch Kingdom
City House (second choice) remains of interest on AW, and gelding and wind operations since his last start could be the catalyst for him to fulfil his undoubted potential. He's high on the list, along with Mojomaker who shaped so well at Chelmsford on his return, and Cajetan who should be much happier on AW than the soft/heavy ground he's faced on his last two starts. Completely Random, Almarada Prince and Ziggy's Condor also have persuasive pieces of form but DUTCH KINGDOM comes here on an upward curve, has no concerns over his current form and created a positive impression when dropped to 6f for the time at Chelmsford four weeks ago.
Fairyhouse
3.27: Nells Choice
The vote goes to NELLS CHOICE who ran her best race so far when second at Limerick last time. An obvious danger is recent Galway runner-up Walk In Time. Others for the short list are Tomas O Maille and Stowaway Lass.
