Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Chepstow

2.55: I'm On My Way

Despite the big field, this looks another good opportunity for I'm On My Way and she can land her fourth win from her last five starts. Dana's Gem ran well when third on her first run for a new yard and is second choice, while Musique De Fee may have needed the run when fourth last time. Others worth keeping an eye on include Shaving who is still lightly raced, After Many Days and My Girl Katie who both step up in distance, the consistent Rubys Reward and Luna Run if her wind issues don't resurface. Dundalk

3.35: Ferrari Desert

A 5lb rise for last week's C&D win may not prevent a follow-up here for Ferrari Desert. The two above the selection in the weights, Devil's Angel and Velvet Skies look the dangers, while Aisling Oscar holds place claims. Alan Hewison

Kempton

5.00: Happy Hadeda

Giant can go well with headgear now enlisted, while Reidh, Mr Baloo and Giorgio M are dangerous lurkers. Smart Hero isn't fully exposed and is high on the list but Happy Hadeda, who boasts a perfect course record and won decisively here on her reappearance, can defy a small rise in the weights. Musselburgh

3.42: Reel Her In

This mark is likely within range for Molten Sea, who should be fine with the further step up in trip, but Reel Her In has looked a different filly since coming over from Ireland and can complete a course hat-trick, having ultimately won with a bit in hand off 2lb lower over C&D last time. Nottingham

3.18: Equion

It's unlikely that Equion will face a market springer with improvement lurking as was the case last week at Leicester. Cases can be made for others with Dream Pirate (second choice) not without hope of going back-to-back, as he did last season. Racing Demon, Spioradalta and Temper Trap also come into the reckoning.
